I ran across this image the other day. I had to snag it. After all, it is so much the story of my life. Yet for some reason, my home looks nothing like Wonderland…
This past Sunday was one of my Fiber Arts days at InsaniTea. While there I had to take a snap of the back of Travis’s laptop. It just always makes me giggle, it has so much personality.
While there, I made quite a few of my little hearts. Kyla really loves them and wanted me to make some for her. So I had an idea.
After making up a dozen of these little cuties, I made up some bunting with all of them.
Kyla was very happy with our new Valentine decorations. She had been a bit under the weather, and the bunting brought a smile to her sad little face. It was totally worth all the time!
I also finally finished up a project I started quite some time ago and put aside. I will share more with you shortly. I have some big plans for the next few weeks. Lots of growing going on around here!
I got a little bit of organizing done last week. I finally finished up the dress up rack I was working on when I fell down the stairs a few weeks ago. Now the girls and I need to get their playroom cleaned up so we can bring in the play clothes!
I also made a pin board for all the “stuff” we get from school. I cleaned up my piano and put the pin board up above it.
I used a scrap from a ceiling tile and covered it with some pretty fabric for my pin board. It makes me smile.
Well, as I said, lots of things to come here. My head is spinning with everything I am working on, but I am also quite excited. I hope you all like the changes I have made here. There are more to come, though most won’t be very obvious at this point. Just a lot more organizing and improving the navigation/menu bar up above. I also have so many patterns in my head, I can’t move my hooks and needles fast enough!
