Free-Crochet-Pattern-Be-A-Start-Child's-Sun-Hat

This sensational sun hat features a star on top to help keep the sun off the most vulnerable part of your little one’s head, and a mesh side to keep them cool. The wide brim provides shade to protect their face, and to keep them fashionable! Add on a decoration (like the That 70’s Flower) and the Be A Star Child’s Sun Hat is the perfect combination of form and function!

Could you please tell me what tc means in row 24? Is it triple crochet? I am making this in solid white for my granddaughter. I will make hatbands with your flower so she can wear with many different outfits. This is a fabulous hat. Thank you for the pattern!

This is adorable! I may have to squeeze it in before summer’s completely over. ;)

I first saw this pattern while using the internet on my phone, I kept it saved for days until I could use my normal computer and add this to my favorites. I look forward to making it for my daughter next summer since she informed me that she is getting to old for her Disney princess sun hat (just turned 8).

I love this hat! I may need to use a slightly larger gauge and make it for myself :)
