I had a very nice, happy day today! I will share with you in a moment, but first I want to share a few snaps I took yesterday. When I was at Rhinebeck on Sunday, Doug and the girls decorated the house for Halloween.
Here is a close up of the front door.
And the front of the house in all it’s spookiness!
Yesterday afternoon the girls made some art out back. This is a portrait of Kyla in her Elsa Halloween costume, standing over a hopscotch board.
Ready to hop!!
So…Today. After dropping the kids at school, I drove over to do some grocery shopping. Just as I was pulling into a parking spot, “Pour Some Sugar On Me” came on the radio. I turned the volume all the way up and sat in the parking lot for the next few minutes.
Then, as I was almost home, “Livin On A Prayer” came on. So I ended up sitting in my driveway for a few minutes.
After unpacking the groceries, I headed downstairs to get some work done.
I made a series of videos for a new Stitchopedia post. I think a lot of you will find it very useful! It took quite some time to record all the videos, and I still have to edit them all. However, I hope to have it done by the end of the week, or the beginning of next at the latest.
Just as I was leaving to pick up the girls, I noticed a package in the mail. It was this super fun yarn! I have a great pattern in mind for you. 🙂
It was starting to rain, so I drove to pick up the girls, and “Kashmir” came on. It’s two for Tuesday, so after “Kashmir” there was another Led Zeppelin song: “What Is and What Should Never Be“. It was a very good music day!! It also made me realize I really need to finish organizing the basement and get a working radio down there so I can listen to music more. I always worked better in my costume shop when I had Q104.3 on, and I am sure the same will be true here. See, logical reason to rock out.
After dinner I ran downstairs to block a new design I have been working on.
You are really going to love this one!!
~~ Here is my fun soundtrack for this post. 😉 ~~~
