To read about the Jake’s Blankie CAL (Crochet ALong) and to find the links to each week’s post, click here. The intro post will also give you all the yarn info for the blanket, and other links that may help.

I have created an event in my Facebook page to share photos and ask questions. You can find the event here.

This week we will be making and joining 2 more of the 6 inch Jacob’s squares.

If you need a refresher on the Join As You Go method, find that here.

Square #3:
Make one Jacob’s Square, with odd rounds in color A, and even rounds in color B. Work through round 6 as the pattern is written. On round 7, join square #3 next to square #2 as seen in the schematic below. Finish off the square and weave in all ends.

Make one Jacob’s Square, with all rounds in color B. Work through round 6 as the pattern is written. On round 7, join square #4 next to square #3 as seen in the schematic below. Finish off the square and weave in all ends.

  1. I think the blocks are nice. I’m not sure but I’ve tried your link to the fb event and it’s not available. Hopefully I can learn more if I can get into the link.
