12 inch crochet square pattern round up from Jessie At HomePin

Large afghan squares are great for quick projects. Just six of them make a wonderful baby blanket. They also make great pillow covers or even wall art. So here is a collection of some 12 inch crochet squares!

Here are the names and links of each pattern, along with a little something that each designer has to say about them.

1) Starburst Flower Mandala Square ~ Designed by The Crochet Lounge
The Starburst Flower Mandala Square is inspired by all the 5 petaled flower beauties in nature. Although not related to the Starburst Flower (clerodendrum quadriloculare, beautiful tree and flowers in its own right), this mandala square will surely remind you of joy and happiness no matter what you make with it.

2) UnBroken Hearts Granny Square Crochet Pattern ~ Designed by Posh Pooch Designs
The UnBroken Hearts Granny Square Crochet Pattern is Designed with 4 hearts in the center of a granny Square. The hearts are joined together in a circle, and unable to be Broken.

3) Love Garden Granny Afghan Block ~ Designed by Dearest Debi

4) Alpine Steps Square ~ Designed by Fiber Flux
The Alpine Steps Square is a fun to crochet mitered square with an interesting corner detail. Multicolor stripes allow the stitches to really stand out as well.

5) Magic Spike Mandala Square ~ Designed by Tamara Kelly
The Magic Spike Mandala Square is a 12″ x 12″ afghan block that retains the look of the original mandala but is decidedly blanket-friendly. It would look great in a mixed square blanket or repeated in a throw. I can’t wait to see what you all do with it!

6) 12″ Wildflower Granny Square No. 1 ~ Designed by Little Monkeys Crochet
This is a modified version of my much smaller Wildflower Granny Square.

7) Tamara’s Kismet Square ~ Designed by Jessie Rayot
After creating the 6″ Jacob’s Square and the 12″ Kismet Square built off of it, and making quite a few of each square,  I had some ideas for another version. That is where Tamara’s Kismet square came from.

Don’t forget to check out some of the other great Round Ups that have happened in Blogland over the last week!

OR you can just buy this kit (pattern and yarn all together) and make this fun patriotic afghan!

    • Did you use the link to the PDF on Craftsy? The link does work, so if the link is not taking you there, try it again. Once you are there, if the download on Craftsy is not working you will have to contact Craftsy, as I have checked it on my end and it is working.
