The intro post will also give you all the yarn info for the blanket, and other links that may help. I have created an event in my Facebook page to share photos and ask questions. You can find the event here.

This week we will be making another of the Kismet squares.

If you need a refresher on the Join As You Go method, find that here.

Square #11:
Make one Kismet Square as follows:
Starting with color B, make every other round B and then A ~ So for the center Jacob’s square the odd rounds will be color B and the even rounds will be color A, then for the Kismet square continuation the odd rounds will be color A and the even rounds will be color B.
On the final round, join square #11 under square #5 and on top of squares #9 and 10 in the following manner:
Make the first 2 ch of the beginning ch 3, join the 3rd ch to the bottom right corner of square #5,
join the next 43 sc in pattern to the 43 sc at the bottom of square #5,
join the first ch of the ch 2 corner to the bottom left corner of square #5, make the next ch normally,
make the next 43 sc in pattern normally,
make the first ch of the next ch 2 corner normally, join the next ch to the top left ch-2 corner of square #9,
join the next 21 sc in the pattern to the 21 sc at the top of square #9, join the next sc in the pattern to the joined corners of squares #9 and 10, join the next 21 sc in the pattern to the 21 sc at the top of square #10,
join the first ch of the ch 2 corner to the top right corner of square 10.
Finish off the square as it is written and weave in all ends.

Here’s another color option! (these are packs of 3, so there will be enough of each color to make the whole blanket!)
