[pullquote width=”700″ float=”center”]He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly.
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself;[/pullquote]

A Right Jolly Old Elf - free crochet pattern round up from Jessie At HomePin

It’s time for the last Christmas in July round up. This one is all about elves. Hats and figures, it’s all so much fun! Here are the names and links of each pattern.

1) Candy the Elf Hat by Jessie Rayot
The candy cane colored spirals on this fun elf hat will bring a smile to your face. Available in toddler to adult sizes, this pattern is fun and whimsical! By using Red Heart Super Saver with a smaller hook the hat is stiff enough that it stands tall

2) Elf by Jackie Laing

3) Jazlyn Hat by Heidi Yates
There are a lot of patterns for long tailed baby hats around and that’s because they are so dang cute on wee ones. When a close friend of mine called this week and asked if I had time to whip up a couple hats for her baby due any day I jumped at the chance.

4) Swirly Peppermint Elf Hat by Mad Fruit
This pattern started as a drawing that my daughter made to show me the kind of hat that she imagined and wanted to wear in a holiday parade.
It slowly came to life in the form of a swirly peppermint, elf, sleeping hat :).

5) Crochet Elf Hats for the Entire Family by B.hooked Crochet
I think you are going to have so much fun making elf hats for your family this year! Through the process of writing this pattern over the course of a week, I completed 10 hats of various sizes. My finished project pile is overflowing with little elf hats!

6) Gnome Family by Kj Hay
Papa, Boy and Girl – “Crochet the little gnome family for your Christmas tree, and then enjoy them all through the year. These charming wee folks are fun for child play or to keep all ages company.”
