The first of the blankets for Craft Hope Project 13 have begun rolling in.
The first box arrived on Thursday containing seven lovely baby blankets.
They came from the talented Karen Day.
I am especially fond of the pirate blankie. It’s arrrggsome…I mean awesome.
I cleaned the living room table, AKA my craft table, for the blankets. It’s not like I was doing much crafting with my right hand in a cast.I figure this way it gets some use.
Two more boxes blocked my door today. One had a lovely baby quilt from Jodie in CA, and the other came from Linda in NY.
they are saying “blanket love” which is why Kyla looks like she is making faces
Linda belongs to a quilt guild that makes many quilts for Project Linus and others. Her daughter told her about us and now we have a new Craft Hoper! She sent 4 lovely quilts, and two beautiful pieces of fleece that will become blankets soon.
The twins had fun playing in the pile of love!
Here’s my table now. Anyone wanna guess the over/under on how long until Doug’s wolf print can’t be seen any more?
Official count as of this post:
12 Blankets
