Red Heart Fur Topped Holiday Stockings video tutorial from Jessie At Home

Last year I designed a set of cabled crochet stockings for Red Heart Yarns. You can find the pattern for my Fur Top Holiday Stockings HERE. This year I have a video tutorial to help you make those stockings! The video is nearly an hour long. You can watch the whole thing for help with the entire pattern, or you can just skip to the parts that you need a little extra help with. Either way, you will need the pattern linked above.

So, without further ado, here is the video to help you along:

I hope that helps you. Happy crocheting!

Also, if you would like to see more videos for Christmas patterns, check out this awesome playlist from Marly Bird!!

This is our deck. Take a good look. It’s not long for this world.

I’m not sure how old our little deck is, but it’s certainly sad. The stairs are uneven, and the whole thing just feels unsafe. (more…)

Mandala Rug - free crochet pattern by Jessie At Home

Mandala Rug
Crochet Pattern
Intermediate Skill Level
Designed by Jessie Rayot

This stunning rug uses front and back post stitches to create an eye-catching mandala. The texture not only creates the beautiful pattern in the rug, but also makes it soft and squishy under foot. There are no cable stitches used, just regular post stitches and increases and decreases. This pattern is an intermediate pattern and requires a bit of attention to make. Trust me, it’s worth the effort! You can even make it in different weight yarns to change the size and make a wall hanging or pillow cover!

Well, after 4 years of home ownership, we finally renovated Vada’s room. I still need to make the curtains and a few decorative pillows, but otherwise, it’s done! (I may just go to Target and get some cheap curtains for now.)

This is how it all started. Can you see what it will look like?
