I can’t believe it’s Wednesday already. It seems like I just can’t fit enough into the days! Well, here we have a bit of my Wips, and some finished objects as well.
I have made a few more ruffle scarves for street fair season.
Wednesday again! Time to share what I have been up to for the past week. I have been working on street / craft fair items for a good bit of the week. I came up with this fun necklace, inspired by the fashion trends for spring. I think they will do very well at the street fairs! I just finished a tutorial post for you!! I have also been making more videos. I added one, and I have several more … Read more

Well, it’s Wednesday again. That means it’s time for me to share what I have been up to for the past week. As the girl’s vacation wrapped up, Doug and I made a cover for the radiator in the back corner of the playroom. I wanted them to be able to sit and read and have a place to lean against.
It’s coming…Craft Fair Season!!! Let’s get ready together. Here is a round up of free patterns to make craft fair goods. I have broken down the list into three categories by how long they take, less then 30 minutes, half an hour to an hour, and 1 ~2 hours. To see the patterns, just click on the photos! In the spirit of sharing, if you make any of these items to sell at craft fairs, share the photos in our Facebook … Read more
I’ve never understood why some school !have February breaks. It’s too cold to go out, and it means that spring break has to be moved later so it doesn’t coincide with Easter. Plus it makes the school year end even later. Oh well, we have it, so we will make the best of it! The girls had quite a crazy day on Thursday. They came home with so much candy, and we still had left overs from Christmas! Then in the evening … Read more
Before I get into the snowy Nemo pictures, there is a bit of “business.” I will be starting a few new styles of posts here shortly. Once a month I will have a “guest blogger.” The guest blogger post will be an interview with another crafty blogger. I can’t wait to post my first interview. I will also post the occasional “pattern round up.” Pattern round ups will consist of pictures and links for patterns in different categories. For example, my friend over at Cre8tion Crochet posted this awesome Valentine’s Day Pattern round up a few weeks ago. I plan on putting up my first round up next week, it will be patterns that are good for craft fairs. I don’t know about you, but I am getting my craft fair stock started now! I will put a “Round Up” link up top in the menu bar.
Now…Nemo.
We have finally finished opening the last of the Project 19 boxes. Those boxes kept coming all the way into February, and I wanted to wait to show you the final pile ‘o hope until they were all here and opened and hugged. Here is the tiniest package of hope that we received, and its inhabitant. Isn’t she the cutest? Kyla was very excited about the Rainbow Unicorn!! We had been in contact with the Boys and Girls clubs of Hobokin … Read more
So I promised more photos and a break down of all the yarn I bought last night. I didn’t count out all the colors, but I did separate and count it by type. So here is the breakdown, with links to the yarns on line, and the retail price (based on the price of the yarn in the LYS, not on line.) The photos may not match up with the text, as they are just snaps of the unpacking and organizing efforts.
These videos will help you to make knit stripes one at a time, connecting them to each other as they are knit using the join as you go method.
