Well, after 4 years of home ownership, we finally renovated Vada’s room. I still need to make the curtains and a few decorative pillows, but otherwise, it’s done! (I may just go to Target and get some cheap curtains for now.)

Easter is coming! So is spring! This year I thought I would welcome the spring with a round up of free crochet patterns for eggs and baskets. That seems to be my theme lately, lots of baskets for all the eggs of my business, so this round up has a bit of a double meaning. Do you ever wonder how to present your handmade gifts? Well, I have a solution for you! I’ve made a collection of labels that can be printed on regular printer paper, or even on cardstock printer paper. These labels are made to be folded lengthwise, and then wrapped around your handmade items.

Today I have some more studio reno photos for you. Right now the studio is sort of at a holding point. I’m hoping that I can get most of the remaining boxed items cleaned and organized into my new space throughout November. For now, I’m still catching up on all the work that got put on hold while I was renovating.

I promised you all pictures of my work room after it was covered in soot, and of the renovations. So here are some.
This was my couch, post soot. I had just moved a bunch of stuff onto it to sort through. Notice the paper at the bottom right corner of the picture, the black bag is on it. That paper was white and clean before this all happened.
The kiddos are back in school and suddenly we realize we weren’t as prepared as we thought we were! They “need” a pencil case that’s cooler. They want to give the new teacher a gift. The other kids have all these fun things that they don’t have!!
OK, sometimes they have to deal with a little disappointment in life, but sometimes we can up the cool factor with a few fun creations. So, here are some patterns that will allow the kiddos to bring the cool to school!
