A round up of 7 free hat crochet patterns for the fall season.

With the fall comes the cool weather and fall breezes. The cooler weather brings out so many wonderful hats. I’m a big fan of fall colors as well. Here is a collection of fall hats to keep you warm as the weather cools down.

Here are the names and links of each pattern.

1) Speckled Cloche Hat by Kim Guzman
This fun cloche hat features a buckle and colorwork!

2) Pebble Stitch Hat by Underground Crafter
“I’m also sharing a free crochet pattern today! I’ve mentioned before my love of the pebble stitch, which I used in the free Walking in the Sand Scarf pattern. It has a great texture and it’s also perfect for a unisex project that will delight men or women.”

3) Latte Striped Beanie by Crochet Memories
“This handsome beanie boasts front post double crochet for texture and reverse single crochet for an edging that’s all male! Use Red Heart’s new super saver stripes yarn for a color variation that transcends this beanie to superstar!”

4) Swifty-loo hat by ACCROchet
“I think I may have designed the fastest ever hat to crochet…! Wear it as a slouch, or fold up the brim for a tuque =)”

5) Heartstrings Slouch Hat by Kirsten Halloway Designs
“I’m not the kind of person to wear things blatantly covered in hearts on Valentines, however, small subtle heart shapes are another story! This slouch hat uses the star stitch (turned sideways) to give the illusion of rows of tiny hearts running up the sides of it.”

6) Rock Star Hat & Scarf by Jessie At Home
“The Rock Star Hat and Scarf set is the perfect complement to the Rock Star Mitts. The linen stitch creates a smooth transition from one color to the next.”

7) Crocheted Football Helmet Hats by 5 Little Monsters
“A couple of years ago I made a hat for each of my kids for Christmas. I found lots of cute ideas for babies and for girls but I had a really hard time finding something for my oldest son that wasn’t too babyish or just really plain and not very fun. In our family we are big University of Utah fans and he was just starting to get interested in football so I came up with the idea to make a hat to look like a football helmet.”
