Motifs ROCK. They can be put together to make blankets, pillows, purses, and so much more. Most of the patterns I have found for you this week are either just the motif or a blanket with motifs, but use your own creativity to make whatever fun project you would like!

Motifs free crochet pattern round up from Jessie At HomePin

Here are the names and links of each pattern.

1) THE NEVER ENDING WILDFLOWER 12″ GRANNY SQUARE by Little Monkeys Crochet
“The interest of this pattern doesn’t come from the square itself, but from the beauty of its focal centerpiece, the large, multi-petal wildflower. Of course, you can incorporate as many different colors into this pattern as you want; for me, I prefer just using two, and I love how the contrast makes the flower leap right off the square.”

2) Whimsical Penelope’s Merry Go Round by Celina Lane
“A beautiful 12″ square that can be transformed from motif, to tote, to market bag, to afghan, or even a wall hanging. It’s simple, elegant, and easy.”

3) Lotus Flower Madala by The Lavender Chair

4) Dream Circle 12″ Crochet Square and Mandala by Pink Mambo
“The day has finally come when I can release my newest design, the Dream Circle 12″ Square and Mandala. I hope you love it for all your CALS and square projects. I’m honored that Dream Circle is the featured square for September 17 on the fabulous Moogly 2015 CAL!”

5) Crossed Square by Jessie At Home
“This square may be labeled intermediate due to the post stitches, but it’s actually pretty easy! The varying stitch height creates a fun color pattern, and the post stitches give the square some texture. Try playing with colors, or even making the whole thing in one color.”

6) Magic Rainbow Baby Blanket by Tamara Kelly
“Last week I shared my pattern for the Mini Magic Mandala Squares – a great 6” afghan block pattern made in worsted weight yarn. This week, I take that pattern, change the yarn size, add an easy join as you go technique, and a big bold border… and present the Magic Rainbow Baby Blanket free crochet pattern!”

7) Charlotte’s Dream Pattern by Look At What I Made
“Some projects make me feel like a child again (or, in this case, like a character in a Brontë novel)! I cannot tell you how excited Jenny and I are about bringing you this pattern. Charlotte’s Dream has been just that: A dream!”
