Fun with Dot and Katrina!

This week we have had guests every morning! My dear friend Jenn has dropped her girls Katrina (almost 5) and Dot (almost 4) off for a few hours each morning so she can get some things done. The girls have had tons of fun together. However, my girls are a little rougher/crazier then Jenn’s. They play monster and chase Dot and Katrina. On Monday morning, Katrina decided to build a fort to protect her little sister from the monsters. At first there were just 3 pillows, and Kyla was not fooled!

So Katrina started adding more pillows.

I thought I would help by adding the blanket, but as you can see, Kyla was still well aware of where to find Dot.

You see that little camo hinnie? That is Katrina reaching in to rescue her sister.

The little ones won the fort battle. Dot and Katrina had to retreat and watch Super Why.

Katrina is such a sweetie, she figured if Kyla and Vada won the fort, they needed a flag ~ so she put the horsey up.

That is basically how the week has gone. Jenn and I figure it’s because my girls are twins and just always played rough. Katrina is a year older then Dot, and can’t play that rough because she is bigger, so they are more gentle with each other. Although, my girls aren’t all rough. Today Kyla chased Katrina around trying to give her hugs and kisses. They are very loving, they just have no concept of playing gentle. I guess we need to work on that.

Have a very wonderful Thanksgiving everyone!!!
