To read about the Jake’s Blankie CAL (Crochet ALong) and to find the links to each week’s post, click here. The intro post will also give you all the yarn info for the blanket, and other links that may help.
I have created an event in my Facebook page to share photos and ask questions. You can find the event here.
Let’s get started with this blanket! For our first week we will be making and joining 2 of the 6 inch Jacob’s squares.
If you need a refresher on the Join As You Go method, find that here.
Square #1:
Make one Jacob’s Square, with all rounds in color A. Finish off the square and weave in all ends.
Square #2:
Make one Jacob’s Square, with odd rounds in color B, and even rounds in color C. Work through round 6 as the pattern is written. On round 7, join square #2 next to square #1. Finish off the square and weave in all ends.
Here’s another color option! (these are packs of 3, so there will be enough of each color to make the whole blanket!)

I think this CAL will be fun
I have missed out on this and would love to have the patterns, especially #1 & 6. Where can I get the patterns. Just the colors I need for my daughter.
all the links you need are in the post. If you are trying to make the full blanket, the CAL isn’t over yet.
