The hooks used in this review were provided by Knitter’s Pride for an honest review. The opinions stated are those of Jessie Rayot.
I was recently sent some Knitter’s Pride Waves hooks to review. I’ve used them for a few of my recent patterns so I can let you know what I think of them.
The hooks come in a pretty pink or green case with a window in the front and back. Inside there is an elastic strap fro each of the hooks, which keeps them in size order. It’s such a handy little case. I love that I can carry them up and down the stairs as I switch work spaces so easily and organized.
The hooks have padded colorful handles. My concern with hooks with handles is always the length of the hook after the handle. Either it can be too short so that there’s not enough room to make specialty stitches and long stitches, or it’s too long and you end up holding the hook shaft instead of the handle. The
Knitter’s Pride Waves handles and hook shaft have just the right proportions for me. There’s enough room for long or specialty stitches, but I found I was still able to hold the handle comfortably. The handles themselves are very nice. Just soft enough.
All together, the Knitter’s Pride Waves hooks are very nice hooks. I’m sure I will use them a lot in the future! You can pick up your own from Amazon HERE.
I was sent 2 sets of the hooks, one for me, and one for one of you! So here’s your chance.
