The fourth necklace in the Twisted and Twirled Knit necklace series is made with a diagonal lace stitch. It has 4 twists in it, which increases the motion of the pattern. This swirled necklace can be worked up in no time with less than 35 yards of lace weight yarn.

US 3/3.25mm 16″ circulars

Twisting Necklace: Lay needles down and work out any twists so that all the sts are laying in the same direction. add 4 full twists before beginning round 1. See photos below:
Round 1: Place marker, k to end of round.
Rounds 2~11 even: Slip marker, *k1, yo, k2tog, repeat from * to end of round.
Rounds 3~12 odd: Slip marker, k to marker, remove marker, k1, place marker.
Bind off knit wise, and weave in ends.
