Mushroom Crepe Cowl
Knit Pattern
Intermediate Skill Level
Designed by Jessie Rayot
This long, skinny cowl can be worn a multiple of ways. The fun stitch pattern is easy to memorize, and creates wonderful texture. It can be made with 2 coordinating skeins of Lion Brand Crepe yarn, and with more yarn, it can easily be made wider.
This pattern was named by my friend Jan, one of my fellow admins (the head admin, actually) of the Knitting Facebook group. Thanks Jan!!

Getting Started:
When switching colors, do not clip the previous color, just let it hang in back where it is and pick it up again on the next round.
I used a long tail cast on for my cowl, I pulled out about 7 yards before starting my cast on, and ended up with about 2 feet of yarn left after my cast on.
In this pattern, slipped stitches are slipped purl wise.
