Due to the discovery of lice on Kyla on Thursday, we had a lazy weekend at home. Thursday evening included a few hours of me cleaning off the lice, and the weekend was full of lots of laundry We kept both girls home on Friday, and have been checking them both every morning and every evening. We took them into school early today and they were both cleared by the nurse to come back.
Vada took the weekend at home as an opportunity to wear pajamas none stop, and get crafty.
She made this vampire mask entirely on her own except for the eye holes. She asked for help with that. I also moved up the strap she made, because she had it taped behind the nose, which was a bit low. I was so impressed with her creativity!
Kyla made this adorable little crown!
Vada also raided the hair drawer and fixed her own hair. So cute.
Kyla decided it was time for some serious Daddy wrestling Before she begin, she put on a cardigan. Not sure why, but it seemed to be her uniform.
I had a nice afternoon at InsaniTea yesterday. Ingrid recently got chocolate tea. It is so yummy with some sugar and vanilla soy milk. The only time I drink soy milk is when I use vanilla soy in my tea. It’s really good. You can get little drink box sized cartons. They are shelf stable until you open them, so you don’t have to worry about it going bad and wasting money if you don’t use much.
Oh, and yes, I picked out the chocolate mug for my chocolate tea. I also had chocolate peanut butter cake as well. Mmmm.
Here is a sneak peak at what I was working on yesterday. This will be a free pattern I hope to post in the next few days.
I also hope to post another test this week for the blue Christmas gift I have been teasing you with for the last few days.
Have a great week, my friends!!!
