Love the pattern. question I did the 39 times and got the other end shorter is that right or is each end the same size
This is asymmetrical, so all 3 sides are different.
Nm I just found out what I did wrong lol love this pattern
Evidently I did the same thing… I got one side 4 V stitches longer than the other… 🙁
I frogged it and I’m starting over. Hopefully I get it right this time.
Can you give me the breakdown to change the length of the pattern? Is it multiples of 3 + 2 or 4?
I think it was a multiple of 6 + 3 (because you need an even number of V-stitches to center the point)
First off, I love this pattern! I made this using a hot pink, which matches my hair, and black. I took some free creativity that made this look a bit more funky, like me. I want to share what I did as noted below:
First 2 rows in pink
Next 2 rows in black
1 row pink
1 row black
1 row pink
2 rows black
2 rows pink
2 rows black
1 row pink
1 row black
1 row pink
2 rows black
2 rows pink
That made for 20 rows.
The single color rows created a zigzag pattern, which gives it a bit more flare.
I did a HDC border in black, which made it look more finished. On the ends, I did 2 HDC stitches per row.
I added fringe, which looks awesome and adds an element of chaos to something with such a unique pattern.
I would recommend this adjustment as an alternate to the pattern because it came out awesomely. It may draw in the younger generations. I wish I could post photos! I hope you enjoy my recommendations! Thank you again for the lovely pattern!
It sounds lovely! If you join my facebook group linked in the bottom of the pattern you can post photos there. I would love to see them!

I liked you as my page, Honestly Handmade, and with my profile. I also left you a review… positive of course!
Thanks for sharing a beautiful pattern. I want to make it using variagated yarn. Approximately how much yarn did you use?
About 500 yards
