I think I showed you the beginning of this horsey holder. It’s all done now. I really like it. Plus, free, always a bonus!!
There has been quite a bit of cleaning and organizing going on lately.
Doug and the girls organized Doug’s comic books. It took a couple weeks, but it’s done now. He’s been wanting to do this for years, but never had a space to do it in before.
Friday was the PTO sponsored pumpkin patch at the girls school. Doug and IÂ volunteered. All the kids got to choose a pumpkin.
Then they went on to the decorating tables with tons of stickers to make fun pumpkins!
Kyla liked the foam stickers (she fell on the way to school on Thursday and scrapped up her face, if you’re wondering.)
Aren’t they both adorable? She asked Daddy to draw eyes, eyelashes and eyebrows on the pumpkin.
Vada had a good time, as well.
She really liked the little green wart stickers!!
While cleaning and organizing the girl’s playroom, I found Rapunzel’s crown. So I fixed her hair and attached her crown. Kyla was quite pleased.
I finished the playroom!!!
This is a hanging organizer that was in our last batch of hand~me~downs from my friend Jenn. We use it for the girls hats, scarves, gloves and such.
This is an old coffee table Doug found at the curb. It is great for all the girls’ games and blocks.
More toy storage. The white tower with the fabric baskets was a cheap garage sale find by Doug. He’s pretty good at this stuff!
So many toys, all with a home!
Here are the shelves again, all filled up!
I made some more hanging storage for the back of the playroom.
More little wooden pegs, I think I can make them in my sleep by now!
I made a couple toy hammocks for the back corner. They crocheted up really quick and easy. I see more of these in my future. The girls picked out the yarn from the Red Heart yarn stash I got from my Grammy.
I have a few more yarnie projects in the works. I have a feeling I will have plenty of time to work on them in the next few days. I will do my best to keep you all updated, but I can’t guarantee I will have power, as Sandy has her sights firmly set on us. All the schools and businesses are closed. Everyone has battened down the hatches and are all tucked safely *we hope* inside our homes. It’s so odd to know that everyone is home, but when you look out the windows, it’s a ghost town. Wish us luck!
