Doug had a snow day on Friday.
Wonder why?
Kyla says “Hey Daddy, that’s a lot of snow!”
OK, so it was more like “Daddy! Sooooo!”
Vada checks to see if it is good snow for making snowballs.
Kyla plops on in and shows off her “sooobaaaall”
Of course, what kind of a snow day would it be without Daddy building a snow slide?
Vada slides right into Kyla.
So Kyla slides right into Vada.
OK, let me take a moment here to say this. I am not the kind of twin mommy who likes to dress their twins the same. My Grammy had it right with the hats. One has a base of white, and one has a base of pink. Most of the time they are in similar outfits. Something like the same dress in different colors, or both in overalls and turtlenecks. These snowsuits, however, were FREE! So the same it is.
Here is the other side of the wall of snow. Pretty crazy, huh?
Kyla decided she needed to climb it.
“Look Mommy, I climbed the wall and slid down the slide!”
And there is Vada, about to do the same.
Vada made a snowman ~ with a little help from our lovely neighbor, Jessica.
This just reminds me of the Calvin and Hobbs snowmen. Calvin was always tormenting those poor snowmen. Vada just kept bisecting the poor little guy on the right.
Not only did Daddy build a snow slide, but this time he made a snow tunnel, too!
Kyla tried to climb up to go down the slide herself…
…but she fell into a Daddy footprint.
After the snow fun, we had yummy cookies and milk.
Then we had some fun puzzle making and dancing time.
Then dinner. It was a long, hard day.
This is what happens when you have too much fun.
So peaceful.
And I just have to show off my fun socks. I was quite warm in the snow.
