The picot stitch is a very common decorative crochet stitch. It is quite simple to make, yet can make your work look much more refined. In this Stitchopedia entry you will learn to make the picot stitch with a video, written instructions, photos, and a sample practice piece. At the end of this post you will find a few patterns which use the picot stitch so you can try out your new skill.
