Gradient ~ crochet pattern round up from Jessie At Home

Gradient Crochet Pattern Round Up

I’ve been seeing more and more gradient and ombre patterns popping up lately, and I love it! I’m quite fond of the way they can subtly move from one color into the next, so that you often can’t even notice where the changes happened! There are many ways to achieve this look, from a yarn that does it for you, to pacts of yarns made to work together as a gradient, to picking out the yarn colors on your own. I have searched around and found several examples of these fun color changes for this week’s round up!

If you need a little help, here is a tutorial on crochet post stitch cables.

Spider Stitch

I love the Spider Stitch! I have been using it for years, but I only just learned the name. It creates a fabric that drapes nicely, without being open or lacey. Would you like to learn? I have made a video to teach you this simple stitch pattern, and I have also written out instructions for you, and made a chart and pattern for a little practice square. Enjoy!
