This spiraling color cowl makes a great addition to your winter wardrobe. The Green Gradient Cowl is worked with all 5 colors at once in a spiral. Stitch markers are used to help you keep track of where to start and stop each color. Once you get the hang of it, it really moves along, but you do need to follow the pattern carefully to be sure you are on the right path. There are no seams/jumps in the color pattern because of the way it is made, so you end up with a very professional looking finished creation!

If you pick up your yarn from Premier by April 24th, 2017, you can get 10% off with coupon code JR001

I’ve been loving working with double crochet v-stitches and single crochet to create a few patterns lately, and I thought I would do a rectangular one that shows off the stitch pattern. Of course, that meant I needed a fabulous yarn and I found one from Plymouth this summer: Nako Arya Ebruli! I hope you enjoy this mini-wrap as much as I do.

Hello friends, today we have a special guest post for you – enjoy!

This free crochet pattern roundup for crochet shawls is compiled by Rhelena of Crochet Pattern Bonanza – a free crochet pattern directory.

Crocheted shawls are not only fun to crochet, but they make for great gifts as well. They can be worn in many different ways with elegant dresses or anything casual.

And they are perfect for all seasons as well! In the cold winter weather you can drape them around the shoulders to keep your shoulders and back nice and cozy. Or, bunch them up like a scarf around the neck. As for the summer, they make for excellent beach cover-ups – either drape them over the shoulders, or tie them around the waist for a nice beach skirt. Hello! Welcome to the August Knitting Love Link Party #12, hosted by Marie Segares and me. There are a lot of great geometric shapes and designs in this month’s featured patterns. I’m a big fan of math in art, so I really love the looks of these 5 patterns!

This month’s giveaway is for The Knitter’s Book of Knowledge! Every project, tip, tutorial, or pattern added to the link party will count as an entry. We will choose one winner at random at the end of the month.

According to Random.org, last months winner of the 4 skeins of Berroco Vintage Chunky yarn in fall colors was Ginx Craft; congratulations! You should have been contacted by email by now, if you have not, contact Marie or me.

Be sure to share this link party with all your knitting friends so they can link up as well, and find new and fun knit projects around the web. Our link parties start on the first Thursday of the month, and end on the last Thursday of the month. Here are the 5 most clicked links from last month.
