Tonight I have a collection of purple crochet patterns to share with you. Of course, you can make your crochet creations in whatever color you like, but these sure are pretty in purple.

Hello, exciting CAL/KAL news!! Did you enjoy the Jake’s Blankie CAL? I hope so. Don’t forget, even though the last part of the CAL was posted last week, you still have one week to finish your blankie and enter in the drawing for 3 of my paid patterns ~ winner’s choice of which 3! Daisy is a fashionable flared skirt perfect for the spring and summer! This skirt works as a swimsuit cover up for the beach, or as everyday wear over tight shorts or leggings. Made with Lion Brand Modern Baby yarn, this skirt can be machine washed, which is always nice for children’s clothing!! Daisy got her name because the pattern is a variation on the Juliette shawl. Juliette was named after Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of the Girl Guides (which became the Girl Scouts) and her nickname was Daisy.

I started writing a wrap pattern at the beginning of October. It was beautiful in my head. Somewhere in the initial planning/math stages, something went awry. I think I tried to do too much. The pretty little picture was much more simple then what happened as I started writing.

Yup, chaos. Kind of explains a lot going on right now. I seem to have a decent routine on school mornings up unit I get home from taking the girls to school. Then it’s just a bit, well, chaotic. I’m working on getting into a routine during the school days. It seems like there is just more to do then time in the day. Market some days, laundry others, cleaning (always cleaning), organizing all the stuff in the basement, garage, spare room (which will one day be Kyla’s room), working on my designs/patterns, and, of course, spending time with you, my blogland friends. I know I can.
Well it finally arrived. My purple!! I’ve been working on finishing up some stuff for Ingrid to bring to Pride next week.
