It’s odd, I’ve lived here, in northern New Jersey just outside of the Lincoln Tunnel, for about eight years; yet until Sunday I have never taken public transit into the City. That’s not to say I haven’t gone into Manhattan, I’ve just always driven in. Before I lived here I lived in Queens, and I took the train of the subway into the City all the time. Yet for some reason, even though it’s quicker to take public transit into the City from here and then it was where I lived in Queens, I just never really went.
Wow! What a day it’s been. I was hoping to get an old pattern polished up and posted for you today, but it’s starting to look like that’s just not going to happen. I do have two or three sitting around just waiting for a little bit of editing. I hope to get some up by the end of this month. Before I get into the snowy Nemo pictures, there is a bit of “business.” I will be starting a few new styles of posts here shortly. Once a month I will have a “guest blogger.” The guest blogger post will be an interview with another crafty blogger. I can’t wait to post my first interview. I will also post the occasional “pattern round up.” Pattern round ups will consist of pictures and links for patterns in different categories. For example, my friend over at Cre8tion Crochet posted this awesome Valentine’s Day Pattern round up a few weeks ago. I plan on putting up my first round up next week, it will be patterns that are good for craft fairs. I don’t know about you, but I am getting my craft fair stock started now! I will put a “Round Up” link up top in the menu bar.
Now…Nemo.
The other day the girls and I spent $3.00 at the grocery store on a pack of Halloween cut outs. We then put them in the front windows and on the front door.
Now every time we come home Vada says “Hi, Spooky House.” It’s kinda adorable!
We all know the saying. Well this is my thousand word picture.
Housework and home repair. That is what my life is right now.
Anyway, here are some snaps of the girls that have piled up over the last month or two.
Well, the old one is dead. It had a good run. About 6 years. That’s pretty darn good, if you ask me. Half the letters on the keyboard were worn off. It was very funny when someone with not~so~good typing skills borrowed it!
Anyway, I got a Lenovo v570. It’s pretty. And fast. And not cluttered with 6 years of junk. And fast. I’ll take some pictures tomorrow.
