Well, with the exception of painting, the deck is done! Here are some photos of the process.
The girls helped Daddy and Grandpa dig the post holes. They go 36″ down!
Here they are helping more, this time with the deck frame.
The outer frame is done!!

Dad put the router to a LOT of use making notches in the railing posts.
Here we have Vada, the human clamp.
Kyla and Vada enjoyed helping with the spacers.
I just love the look of the patterns made by the grain of these 4 by 4s. It’s all so pretty!
Look at the nifty tricks my newest Ryobi can do!! (There will be a review on this awesome sliding miter saw in the future)
