Twisted and Twirled MCAL and MKAL

OK!! Are you ready for a fun summer of knitting and crocheting? I am!!

We will have Mystery Crochet ALong (MCAL) that will start next Monday and run every other Monday into September. The week after that we will start a  Mystery Knit ALong (MKAL) that will run every other Monday into September. So all summer long Mondays will alternate between the MCAL and the MKAL.

Twisted-and-Twirled-TeaserPin

Each week will be an entire pattern. The patterns will be a series of “Twisted and Twirled” necklaces. So, you can make just one, all of them, or any number in between.

I didn’t want to abandon the CAL/KALs over the summer, but I wanted to take into account that some people will be very busy and not able to participate every week, and that many of us live in climates where it gets rather hot in the summer, and large, heavy projects are not the best plan. Plus, I really needed some patterns to use the bunches of small samples of yarn I had been given at the TNNA Summer 2015 Needlearts Trade Show. I think this idea will work for all of that!

After the MCAL and MKAL are over, I will compile the patterns into 2 ebooks and add a couple bonus patterns in that will only be available in the ebooks. So there will not be a printable PDF available for the individual patterns until that point.

Here is a list of all the dates of the MCAL and MKAL. As I have the information on the supplies needed for each, I will list those, and as the posts go live, I will link them here as well. Please share your photos and stories in the JessieAtHome CAL/KAL group on Facebook.
