The kit reviewed in this post was provided by the Ann Williams Group.
The girls and I have been having so much fun reviewing crafts for you. Today we have a super colorful and fun one for you – a Yarn Tree from Ann Williams. It can be used as a jewelry holder, or just as decoration. You can even decorate it for various holidays.
The kit comes with the wire tree with capped ends so there is no snagging of yarn or poking of fingers. Yay! It also has the yarn needed and a great instruction booklet. All you need to provide is a pair of yarn snips or scissors, and some glue to seal your knots.
The instruction booklet is very thorough and full of helpful images. The girls were able to read and follow the directions on their own.
I did make all the knots for them, though they probably could have done that themselves if I hadn’t been there to help out. The girls took turns holding the tree and wrapping the tree.
It didn’t take as long as I thought it would, but it is a long project. We really enjoyed it. The girls had a great time picking the colors for each section. They had no problem following the instructions, which is always a good thing!
Check out the Ann Williams website! You can get your own Yarn Tree HERE, and you can take a look at all the other fun kits they have while you’re there. They even have a monthly craft box you can sign up to receive!
Now, here is what the girls had to say about the kit:
Kyla: It was really fun. I like it now that it’s very yarnie. I like that you got to choose your colors.
Vada: I really like it ’cause it was really fun to make and it’s pretty.
They’re right to the point today.
