Well hello there! Did you have a nice Holiday Season? We did.
OK, we had a bit of the plague, but other then that it was lovely. The weekend before Christmas the girls went to my in~laws. Vada was a bit sick when she got home, but I just thought it was from over~eating or eating things she normally doesn’t have at home, as that happens to her every once and a while when she come back from the in~laws. One day she will learn to stop eating when she is full, and not to chug chocolate milk!
Anyway, on Christmas, Eve Kyla and I both got very sick. I thought I had poisoned us with dinner. Maybe the cheese wasn’t as fresh as it should be…
Thankfully Kyla was basically fine by morning. I was still miserable, though. It took me a few days to get over the “sick” part, and over a week before I felt back to normal again. But at least I didn’t need to shuttle the girls back and forth to school, so I got to stay home! It hit Doug a few days after Christmas, and only for a day. It turned out there was a nasty stomach bug going around, so I guess my cooking wasn’t to blame!
