My, I have been busy. I took a few days off of Kyla’s room reno to work on some secret designs (designs I have sold and can’t share with you until they are published.)
There is still quite a bit to do in Kyla’s room, and I hope to be done soon. I really need to buckle down and finish it, because we are having over night guests on Wednesday night, and we will need all the sleeping space we can get!
Speaking of guests, we had several friends over today. One couple brought this awesome pan of brownies:

Doug and I spent the most of yesterday and this morning cleaning the house to get ready for the company. The house cleaning had kind of gotten away from me. There were boxes of yarn all over, tools in every corner and hall, bits of Kyla’s room in the oddests of places. It was crazy.
It’s a lot better now, but there are still a few things I want to get done before Wednesday. Plus I need to finish laying Kyla’s floor, put up the trim, put in the fabric behind the bed, and buy her bed. Oh, right, she still needs a bed! I will not let the reno win! I will be victorious!!
OK, I may be a bit sleep deprived.
OH…I have some great patterns that are coming out of Kyla’s room reno. You are going to be so happy!
So I may be a bit scarce over the next few days, but there are fun things for you after that.
