Crochet Bag Pattern Round Up from Jessie At HomePin

It’s so much fun to be able to change the look of an outfit by changing the bag you carry with it. It’s also wonderful to have just the right bag to bring whatever you need with you. So I have put together a collection of crochet bags of all shapes and sizes for whatever occasion or use you may need!

Here are the names and links of each pattern, along with a little something that each designer has to say about them.

1) How to make a bag out of 3 Granny Squares ~ Designed by Jessie At Home
I seem to have a surplus of Granny Squares hanging about my work room. I’m not really sure where they all come from. So, I have started turning them into bags of various sizes and styles. They make great gifts! Especially the little ones turned into little bags for kiddos.

2) Amazing Grace Tote ~ Designed by Beatrice Ryan Designs
This fun tote can be used for the market, beach or as your everyday bag!! Along with all of the other Amazing Grace Free Patterns, This tote is dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness.

3) Ruffled Project Bag ~ Designed by Jessie At Home
Sometimes you need to bring your yarnie projects along with you! This bag lets you do that in style. The fun ruffles and flowers add a fun flair. It is big enough to carry a work in progress, but not so big it is unwieldy.

4) Spiral Seashell Bag ~ Designed by Stitches N Scraps
This great bag is perfect for a day at the beach or a casual night out, with just enough room for a few essentials. It could even make a good project bag!

5) To Market We Go, The Belmont Bag ~ Designed by KatiDCreations
I have ventured into foreign territory….hand bags. After competing the Belmont Sun Hat I decided that [what] my daughter really needed to go with the hat was a hand bag.

6) Diagonal Stripes Messenger Bag ~ Designed by Marie Segares
This messenger bag is a great introduction to Tunisian crochet. Learn the Tunisian Simple Stitch while increasing, decreasing, and changing colors. The asymmetrical striping pattern will keep even a more experienced Tunisian crocheter engaged!

7) Cascading Tote ~ Designed by Crystalized Designs
Show off your love of crochet and color with the a Cascading Tote, available in two sizes! These totes, designed with taking crochet everywhere in mind, is also great as a beach bag, overnight bag, for toys, or so much more!

8) Tunisian Crescent Bag ~ Designed by Kim Guzman
Make this unique designer bag in Tunisian crochet. This bag is made in three different Tunisian crochet stitches, in the short row technique, for its unique look. After crocheting, the bag is felted, giving it extra strength.

9) Big Striped Bag ~ Designed by Posh Pooch Designs
This bag measures 12 x12 x 18 Large enough to carry 2 Chihuahuas! or your shopping at the farmers market.

10) Crochet Heart Coin Purse ~ Designed by I’m Hooked
These little coin purses would make a great gift for any little girls in your life.
