This video will show you two ways to make a slip knot, and how to crochet a chain stitch.

Chain Stitch is usually simply called “chain.” It is abbreviated as “ch.” Here are some photo stills to show the making of the ch and also the slip knot.

    Hi, I don’t know why but the video above seems to have warped voice over. Like the sound is slowed down version of Darth Vader speaking. But thanks for the video! 🙂

      Oh, my!! Your description of the problem made me giggle! I am sorry, but I think the problem was either a glitch at the time you watched it, or a problem on your end. I just watched it and had a few friends give it a go on their computers and the sound is working for us. Hopefully it was a glitch.

      However ~ I am making better videos of some of my earlier videos, and this is one I have updated. Here is the better video:
