This weekend the girls and I had a lot of fun making and playing in a blanket fort.
I even got them both to pose for me. Here is Kyla making a “cheese” face.
And here is Vada, looking less than impressed that I have the camera out, yet again.
For a while, they both drew happily in the fort.
Then Vada decided it would be much more fun to run through the fort repeatedly.
Kyla was quite happy to lay under the short side and poke at the flowers.
We had a great time giggling and playing and just being goofy in our little floral haven. It made me very happy, as fun forts were the original inspiration for making the girls each a blanket. We do need to come up with a better way to make a fort. Maybe tomorrow we will try again.
Would you like to see how the baby blanket is coming?
It is really very pretty.
Here you go, just a little peak.

Blanket Forts are the best fun ever! I remember making them with my sister as a child and I still enjoying helping my youngest son make them.
Your baby blanket is really lovely!
