It features rows of double crochet interspersed with rows of filet stitches which create ladders throughout the wrap. I hit a wall coming up with a name, so I asked a group of friends, and Drew Emborsky suggested Bob. I’m pretty sure he was joking, but it was the only suggestion I got, and it made me laugh, so I went with it!

  1. such pretty colours, it’s so hard to choose. maybe fern and eucalyptus greens would look terrific together. it looks like it’ll feel terrific through the fingers as it’s being worked!

  2. I love your designs. I’ve tried several and they’ve been so easy to follow. I’d like to make this dress for my daughter in reds. Thank you for offering a giveaway. Blessings – dana

  3. There are so many lovely colors in the Tina Tape. I would choose Coral Crush and Perfect Peach. Those colors jumped out at me instantly!

  4. Love this pattern. Reminds me of ladders climbing to go down a water chute or slide. Wish I would have seen this when you were looking for a name, I would have suggested something like ladder and slides or chutes and ladders like the childhood game.

I would pick Coral Crush and Perfect Peach

  5. We had a shelf thingy we named Clyde, just because we had to come up with something to call that “shelf cupboard thing with the sliding doors in the bedroom” so we named it Clyde and it was called that by everybody for years and years.
So “Bob” makes perfect sense to me. Very nice shawl pattern!
