Origami Ninja Star – I remember these from school!

Get your ninja on, with origami ninja stars. Does anyone else remember these origami ninja stars from school? I remember some the kids used to fold these up and toss them around. OK, not exactly following school rules, but I remember it happening. These are also great for costumes and party decorations. To make an origami ninja star you will need 2 squares of paper. Only one side of each piece will be seen, so the color of the second side does not matter.

For the purposes of this tutorial, we are going to call the blue square of paper Paper A, and the orange square of paper Paper B. To begin, fold both pieces of paper in half and then unfold.

Being the artsy type I just happened to have some marbling paint (oh big surprise there!) and decided this was a great way sate my creative impulses today. Of course, being me, I couldn’t do it the same way as everyone else, so here it is, Mahvalous Marbling, Jessie Style !!
