It can be made from paper that is the same color on both sides, but if the paper is different colors on each side then there is a little bit of the contrasting color showing for some added interest.

Origami Ninja Star – I remember these from school!

Get your ninja on, with origami ninja stars. Does anyone else remember these origami ninja stars from school? I remember some the kids used to fold these up and toss them around. OK, not exactly following school rules, but I remember it happening. These are also great for costumes and party decorations. To make an origami ninja star you will need 2 squares of paper. Only one side of each piece will be seen, so the color of the second side does not matter.
