Cardigans to Crochet

It’s cardigan season! I love layering up and getting all warm and cozy. Cardigans are perfect for that. Toss one on as you walk out the door, and if the heat is high where you are going, you can take it off to cool down. If the heat isn’t good enough, leave it on and still be stylish. Cardigans are the fall’s best friend.

Note: Not all of these are true cardigans, some are more shrug-like, but they serve the same purpose in the fall. 🙂

The Evie Poncho is a great way to dress up your little one for photos or a special event. It’s easy care and can be worn any day, not just for a special occasion. The Paintbox Yarns used gives you plenty of yarn to finish this pattern, and even has enough left over to make it bigger or longer if you would like.

Hexagon Fade Crochet Pattern by Jessie At Home

I am so in love with this week’s crochet pattern! It is one that I designed over a year ago, but never got around to creating until Craftsy approached me about a blanket kit. I just knew their yarn would work perfectly with my design, so Hexagon Fade was finally born!

You can get the full kit (yarn and pattern) from Craftsy HERE, or you can by just the pattern (no yarn) from Craftsy, Ravelry, or Etsy

The Hexagon Fade pattern includes a schematic with all the hexagons numbered, and a chart to tell you what colors to put where. You will have everything you need to succeed!

I really love the colors of the Sprightly yarn, and the acrylic and wool blend is warm and comfy. This really is one of my favorite patterns I’ve designed. I hope you love it, too!

Cowls are so awesome. They stay around your neck so you don’t have to worry about them slipping off like some scarves. Some are short and worn without twisting, and some are long enough to wrap around a couple times. I have found 7 great free crochet cowl patterns for you to enjoy!
