Happy Sunday! It seems like a good day to catch you up on the various goings-on here At Home lately. I doubt I’ll do this every Sunday, but I’ll try to do it once or twice a month. Yesterday was the girls’ first day of Spring Break and this morning we opened windows. Cabin fever is finally ending!

We’ve had a fun-filled couple of weeks here At Home. Last Saturday (the day before the Super Bowl), we had a relaxing day at home. That’s always nice.
Then on Sunday we went to a friend’s house for a Super Bowl party. Our friend Chris was there. Kyla adores him and calls him “Dude”. They are adorable together. He’s also a brand new daddy, hence the big mug of coffee.
I’ve wanted to design and make a knit circle pouch for quite some time, but the right yarn never came along. I wanted something that would work when I went to Medieval reenactment events with my knight in shining armor, aka my husband Doug, so I needed a yarn that looked like it fit into the time period, but also a yarn that I liked and that would hold up to the stress of being a belt bag. I found that yarn with Kraemer Belfast Linen Blend yarn!
Hello my friends! You may have noticed that I haven’t had quite as many posts as usual lately. The Holiday Gift Shop at the girls’ school was at the beginning of the month. It went quite well. Vada had fun playing in my booth while waiting for things to wrap up at the end of the day.
