Crochet-Bats

Aren’t they just the cutest little batties you have ever seen? I made them for the girls. They hold the bats by the wings, pull and giggle. Good thing I sewed the wings on tight!

I have been adoring everyone else’s amigurumi for a while now. Here is a link to a blog where a lovely lady named Jane posts links to free patterns she has found. It’s all organized and neat and makes me drool! Yesterday morning I clicked one of her links and ended up here. It was the last day she had this bat pattern up for free.

I thought they would be fun for the girls, so I grabbed some “tester” yarn I had lying about and got hooking! I think they turned out rather nice. Doug got a good chuckle when came home to them sitting on the arm of the couch. I’m sure there will be more amigurumi in my future.
