The Stripey Stocking Hat is a fun way to keep warm this winter. Choose your favorite colors of King Cole Cottonsoft to create the stripes. Post stitch ribbing is used in the band, and the remainder of the hat is made of double crochet. Finish it off with a pom pom or tassel for added fun!

The yarn used in this pattern was provided by King Cole.

  1. Jesse, will this hat, made in stripes as written, take a whole skein of each color? And, if made in only one color, about how many yards do you think I’d need? Love this!

    • No. Check out the sizes. Toddler will work up to about 5-8, small works up to pre-teen to teen, medium is good for adult woman, and large is good for big hair and adult men.
