There are several ways to make crochet cables, the most common of which is post stitch cables. Once you get the idea of how to make them down, they’re actually pretty easy! Off to Sausalito

Off to Sausalito is a striking unisex hat that works wonderfully with Camillo’s Scarf. Made with Crystal Palace Sausalito yarn and worked in continuous rounds, it features spiraling stripes in a simple single crochet v~stitch. The hat is actually rather easy to make, though I listed it as intermediate because it can be tricky to find the ch-1 to work into sometimes, and because of the continuous rounds. However, if you just take your time and go carefully, it becomes easy after a few rounds.

Road Trip Crochet Pattern Round Up

With Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, New Years, and whatever other holidays just around the corner, many of us will be spending a decent amount of time in a car. I know when we take road trips to visit family for the holidays, I like to have a project to work on in the car, in the hotel, or even just while sitting around with friends and family. I find that I need my road trip projects to be simple enough that I can make them even if I am slightly distracted. Dragon Collar – Twisted and Twirled MCAL #1

The first necklace in the Twisted and Twirled Crochet necklace series is made using the spider stitch. It has 3 1/2 twists in it, which makes each round go completely around the border of the necklace, so all the edges look the same. This fun necklace can be worked up in no time with less than 50 yards of fingering weight yarn.
