Owlet Lovey is here! As I told you when I announced my teaming up with Craft Hope, I have a tutorial for you! I’ve always found lovies rather adorable. The mix of blankie and stuffie is just too cute for words. So, without further ado, here is my little tutorial for a crocheted owlet lovey.
Craft Hope
I did it again
Once again I have teamed up with the amazing Craft Hope! The new web page is still under construction, but the Facebook page is running smoothly. So hop on over to the Craft Hope Facebook page and give them a “like.” Then check out Project 19 :: Dolls, Animals, and Monsters. Oh My! Share it with anyone you know who may be able to make handmade softies for kids who lost so much from Sandy. There are two people collecting for this project, the lovely Katrina up in NH, and yours truly.
I am working on a tutorial for you all for
Just monkeying around
Lots of monkeying around here lately. We are working on sock monkeys for the current Craft Hope project. These little guys will be going to children who lost their homes in the Texas wildfires.
Our contribution started out with these 4 cute little girls.
Things I meant to share.
I’ve found some snaps from about 2 weeks ago I meant to share with you. First were a few from the last Yarrn Club meeting at InsaniTea.
Dot and Katrina came along for the first half hour or so. The played at the checkers table.
CraftHope, CAL, WiPs and other randomness
I’ve been been up to a lot o’ knitting and crocheting and other fun stuff lately. Here is a bit of everything, just a random selection of my life right now.
I’ve been getting some really great reviews about my Tea Cup Bunting pattern. It makes me happy. If you want the pattern you can buy it now; it’s only $4, and it is oh so fun and easy!
I’m two~timing you.
Yes, my dear friends, for a few more weeks I am two~timing you. I am also posting on the Craft Hope site. Just until Project 13 is done. I’m sure you understand. I am *hoping* to put up a new post on both blogs this weekend. I have many lovely snaps I want to share. And we’re off!!
The first of the blankets for Craft Hope Project 13 have begun rolling in.
The first box arrived on Thursday containing seven lovely baby blankets.
Hiya my fellow Craft Hopers!
Well, with the launch of Craft Hope Project 13, my little NJ apartment is about to get a lot smaller and a lot bigger at the same time. Smaller due the massive amount of handmade blankets that will soon start arriving on my doorstep. All to warm the hearts and the nights of those affected by the Alabama tornadoes. Bigger with the hope and love those blankets will provide. I look forward to each and every blanket. ©Copyright 2011 Jessie … Read more
Easter and other fun!
The text here will be short, one handed typing is no fun.
I couldn’t resist taking this picture one morning just before Easter. The girls were just too adorable.
Here we have the girls the day before Easter. First time painting eggs. I think they are awesome.
