In honor of my new baby cousin who will be joining us shortly, I’ve created this lovely baby dress. Grace and Charm features a double crochet top with a pineapple lace skirt and cute little sleeve caps. It should fit most babies newborn to 3 months. Made with Plymouth yarn Anne, 100% mercerized cotton, it is easy to care for and is sure to become a keepsake.
This winter I visited Plymouth Yarn’s booth at TNNA and was lucky enough to go home with 2 skeins of one of their new yarns: Anne. When I was looking through the booth, Anne just really called to me. Increase your style with these fashionable fingerless mitts. This pattern is slightly different from the rest of the Nettie’s Super Simple Stitch in the round patterns in that it starts with a row of single crochet. The net stitch is then worked off of the single crochet round. This provides a more sturdy base to the mitts so that they stay up. This pattern is also written in a way that it can be made to fit any size, and to finish to any length. Have fun with it!
