Many years ago I was in need of a rug at the foot of my sink, so I crocheted one. I love that rug! I’ve been meaning to write the pattern down, and now I finally have. It brightens up the kitchen, adds some padding in front of the sink and absorbs the water that gets splashed when the kids decide to help. I hope you enjoy your Mellow Yellow Rug as much as I’ve enjoyed mine.

This spiraling color cowl makes a great addition to your winter wardrobe. The Green Gradient Cowl is worked with all 5 colors at once in a spiral. Stitch markers are used to help you keep track of where to start and stop each color. Once you get the hang of it, it really moves along, but you do need to follow the pattern carefully to be sure you are on the right path. There are no seams/jumps in the color pattern because of the way it is made, so you end up with a very professional looking finished creation!

Quiver Capelette – a free crochet patter to dress up your wardrobe!

This design has been in my head for quite some time. I would go back and forth on how to make it, and then I held the Willow Quiver in my hands and it came to me! I am very pleased with the results. The Quiver Capelette uses different height stitches for shaping, and back loop slip stitches for the ribbing at the neck, plus some chain loops for a fun detail. Enjoy!
