The fifth necklace in the Twisted and Twirled Crochet necklace series is made using a mesh style stitch. It has 4 full twists in it. This lovely necklace can be worked up in no time with less than 40 yards of lace weight yarn.
The fourth necklace in the Twisted and Twirled Knit necklace series is made with a diagonal lace stitch. It has 4 twists in it, which increases the motion of the pattern. This swirled necklace can be worked up in no time with less than 35 yards of lace weight yarn.
The fourth necklace in the Twisted and Twirled Crochet necklace series is made using a double crochet v~stitch pattern. It has 4 full twists in it, keeping everything moving! The third necklace in the Twisted and Twirled Knit necklace series is made with the linen stitch in the round. The linen stitch has a wonderful texture on both sides, yet both sides are different. The name: Dueling Stripes, comes from the fact that on what is usually considered the right side of the linen stitch the stripes of color wrap around the necklace, and on what is usually considered the wrong side of the linen stitch the stripes go up and down on the necklace. This necklace has 4 twists in it, showing off both sides of the stitch. This beautifully textural necklace can be worked up in no time with less than 40 yards of fingering weight yarn.

The second necklace in the Twisted and Twirled Knit necklace series is made with stockinette stitch in the round, this means only knit stitches!. It has 3 twists in it, and rolls in on itself for lots of twisty, twirly fun! This swirly necklace can be worked up in no time with less than 35 yards of DK weight yarn. Auryn is named after the medallion in The Neverending Story ~ because Dragonfly fibers made me think of dragons which made me think of Falkor, the Luckdragon from The Neverending Story, but I wanted a name that sounded more female, so I went with Auryn (OR~in). Aren’t you glad you asked?

OK!! Are you ready for a fun summer of knitting and crocheting? I am!!
We will have Mystery Crochet ALong (MCAL) that will start next Monday and run every other Monday into September. The week after that we will start a Mystery Knit ALong (MKAL) that will run every other Monday into September. So all summer long Mondays will alternate between the MCAL and the MKAL.
Each week will be an entire pattern. The patterns will be a series of “Twisted and Twirled” necklaces. So, you can make just one, all of them, or any number in between.
