Crochet Scarves Round Up from Jessie At Home

Wednesday Round Up 11/05/14 ~ Scarves

Crochet Scarves Round Up from Jessie At Home

One year I made scarves for everyone on my Christmas list. Many of them still wear those scarves, and often tell me how much they love them. I love it so much when something I made is useful and enjoyed by the recipient! So, this week I have collected scarf patterns so you, too, can spread love and warmth!

Here are the names and links of each pattern, along with a little something that each designer has to say about them.

This long, skinny cowl can be worn a multiple of ways. The fun stitch pattern is easy to memorize, and creates wonderful texture. It can be made with 2 coordinating skeins of Lion Brand Crepe yarn, and with more yarn, it can easily be made wider.

This pattern was named by my friend Jan, one of my fellow admins (the head admin, actually) of the Knitting Facebook group. Thanks Jan!!

Wednesday Round Up 10/15/14 ~ Scoodies

Scoodie-Round-Up

Scoodies are just fun!! What’s a scoodie? It’s a scarf and a hood, all as one piece. I love that you don’t get that draft on the back of your neck from the space between your hat and your scarf, and they keep your ears warm, too! Fun and functional, what’s not to love?!

So, I have put together a round up of scoodie crochet patterns for you. I even included a bonus knit pattern at the end.

Box Car Races! and other fun

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend my friends!

When I trudged downstairs yesterday morning, this is what greeted me:

Kyla-making-a-car

Kyla had swiped a Coats box I was planning on sending some stuff to a friend in, and the tubes from some Baker’s Cotton that I had used recently. She was having too much fun for me to be upset. I was planning on giving the tubes to the girls for crafts anyway!

Max Hat Crochet Pattern Child

Max Hat – New Pattern Contest!

Announcing the long awaited release of the Max Hat Pattern! This fun unisex hat pattern includes all sizes, preemie to adult large. In my hunt for a great ear flap hat, I just couldn’t find what I wanted! I was looking for one that had the earflaps made within the last several rows. I just love the look of those. Unfortunately, every pattern I found was just not quite what I wanted. The flaps were the wrong size, or they sat at the wrong … Read more
