Spring Cowgirl is a continuous shawl with a cowl neck top. Maybe that makes it a shawl point cowl? I have no idea what to call this thing! Let’s just call it pretty. It uses 2 generous sample size skeins of yarn (a 50g and a 25g skein), but can be made from one 100g skein of fingering weight yarn, with plenty leftover for a fun small project. (Maybe one or two of the Twisted and Twirled MKAL or MCAL patterns.) The yarn was provided by Mode Knit Yarn and Knitcircus Yarns as part of the swag bags from the Marley Bird Designer Dinner at the Summer 2015 TNNA Needlearts Trade Show. Thank you!!! Both yarns were a pleasure to work with and the colors are just beautiful.
Yarn Over Knitwise – YOKW or YO – so simple to do!
Yarn over knitwise, also simply called a yarn over (yo) is really quite simple to do. This technique adds an extra stitch which often creates an eyelet or hole in your work
