The Vines & Twigs Beanie is the last in the Vines & Twigs series of patterns. You can also find the Scarf and the Slouch Hat to make a Vines & Twigs set for the whole family! The cables and post stitches in this pattern resemble vines and twigs, which is where it gets it’s name. The beanie pattern comes in toddler to adult large, so you can make it for any member of the family. Enjoy!

The yarn used in this pattern was provided by Sweet Georgia.

  1. Love this pattern. Just a note though. The last few emails I’ve gotten from you have broken links with a 404 error code on your wordpress site. I got to this by clicking on the COMMENT button in the email. Just thought you should know. I really want to see the vine & twigs slouch hat but that link didn’t work. And I’m not sure where it is on your site.

  3. Please help, am confused about round 8.
    Medium Hat Sides:
Round 8: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), fpdc in each of next 4 fpdc, fpc over next 2 fpdc,
Below is where I am confused. unless I do a fpdc around dc.
[fpdc in each of next 5 fpdc, fpc over next 2 fpdc] 9 times, slip st to top of ch 3. (70 sts)
I have only 6 fpdc from previous row 7 to work with not counting dc.

    • You fpdc in each of the next 5 sts, then you fpc over the next 2 sts and you repeat to the end. One of the sts you are working into is a dc, you are right.
